A Patient Access/Registration Representative at a medical center is the first point of contact for patients, greeting them and collecting accurate demographic, regulatory, and insurance information. The role verifies patient identity and eligibility, obtains consents/signatures, and supports admissions, bed placement, transfers, and discharges. This position partners with scheduling, precertification, clinical departments, and billing to enable accurate registration and revenue cycle processes.
