The Patient Access Representative is responsible for patient registration across various departments, including the Emergency Department, Admitting, and Outpatient Lab. The role ensures accurate capture of demographic, financial, and insurance information in compliance with regulations from Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers. Additionally, the registrar acts as a liaison with patient family members or responsible parties.
