Patient Access Representative

This role involves performing Medicare compliance reviews, creating accurate financial estimates, and collecting payments or establishing payment plans for patients. The position requires coordinating with utilization management for pre-authorizations, verifying insurance eligibility, and registering patients for services while maintaining accurate demographic and medical records. The incumbent provides excellent customer service, manages communication between clinical and access departments, and may cover switchboard and cashiering duties as needed.
