Patient Access Representative

The Patient Access Representative provides timely and accurate pre-registrations, registrations, order management, charge capture, and cash collection functions for in-patient, out-patient, emergency room, immediate care, and same-day surgery patients. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and recording demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical data while ensuring accurate payment through third-party eligibility screening and medical necessity coding. This position requires a customer-focused approach to meet patient and family needs and resolve personal liabilities through various payment options.
