Patient Access

This role involves communicating with patients, families, and insurance companies to verify coverage and ensure quality patient care and payment of hospital accounts. The position requires collaboration with the Appeals department to overturn claim denials and provides registration, clerical, and billing support. Key tasks include scheduling appointments, creating patient charts, entering data for billing and tracking, and collecting payments at the point of service. The role also entails maintaining patient confidentiality, assisting with medical record maintenance, and supporting departmental operations.
