Patient Access

This position is responsible for Patient Access duties including appointment scheduling, pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, and prior-authorization. The role involves maintaining and releasing confidential health records in accordance with state and federal requirements while supporting the main HIM Department and billing services. The position also handles customer service, telephone coverage, and up-front collections for both the Clinic and Hospital.
