Patient Access

Responsible for facilitating patient access for services at the hospital by accurately and efficiently verifying patient insurance eligibility and obtaining pre-certifications or medical necessity prior to scheduled services. This position involves completing pre-registration for patient visits and communicating financial obligations or lack of insurance to the Financial Clearance Associate. The role requires providing excellent customer service while protecting patient privacy and collaborating with physician offices and other departments.
