Patient Ambassador

A Nutrition & Food Services Patient Ambassador at Southeast Health may portion foods for tray services, prepare and deliver patient nourishments and courtesy trays according to safe and sanitary institutional foodservice principles. This Patient Ambassador communicates with patients, families, supervisors, nursing and co-workers. Responsible for obtaining menu selections, delivering and retrieving patient meal trays, nourishments and courtesy trays, providing individualized assistance to every patient, must be conscious of details in meal presentation and service, must correctly identify each patient while maintaining confidentiality. Professional behavior is required at all times.
