About this role
Patient Care Tech in the Emergency Department provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff, supporting patient needs related to nutrition, hygiene, skin integrity, elimination, and vital signs. The role supports unit operations by assisting with admissions, discharges, transfers, equipment and supply management, and adapts to changing patient and unit needs. This position is based on-site at UMMC with day/evening shifts and a 36-hour work week.
