About this role
A Patient Care Technician at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital works on the Burn Trauma unit supporting care for neurosurgery, trauma, burn, and orthopedic patients. The role is based on the third (night) shift within a 34-bed intermediate and medical/surgical unit at a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Sentara Care Partner Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Current Clinical Student (RN/LPN/RT/PT)
- Recent PCT/Nursing Assistant Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
