About this role
A Patient Care Technician at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital supports care delivery for high-acuity cardiac patients in a 12-bed observation unit during the third (night) shift. The role is a member of the nursing team working under RN direction within a tertiary care, teaching hospital.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Current Student Enrolled In Clinical Program
- Recent PCT Or Nursing Assistant Experience (within 3 years)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
