About this role
The Patient Care Technician is a clinical support role at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital’s high-acuity cardiac observation unit. The position works under RN supervision to support delivery of patient care and clinical operations. It is an onsite, first (days) shift role based in Norfolk, VA.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Certification
- Current Clinical Student (RN/LPN/RT/PT)
- Recent PCT or Nursing Assistant Experience
