About this role
A Patient Care Technician position at Sentara Leigh Hospital supporting the Medical-Surgical/Hematology unit. This is a full-time night-shift role (approximately 6pm–6am) based in Norfolk, VA on a 24-bed unit that serves patients with a variety of medical diagnoses and chronic blood disorders.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- American Health Association BLS Certification (within 90 days)
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Current clinical student (RN/LPN/RT/PT) having completed at least one semester
- Recent PCT or Nursing Assistant experience (within last 3 years)
