About this role
The Patient Care Technician works on the Neuro Intermediate Care unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, supporting care for stroke, seizure, and neurosurgical patients during the night shift. The role is part of the nursing team at a 525-bed tertiary care, Magnet-designated hospital and Level I trauma center. Candidates are expected to hold or be eligible for relevant clinical certification or training.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent

- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Current Clinical Student (RN/LPN/RT/PT)
- PCT Work Experience (within 3 years)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
