About this role
A Patient Care Technician at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital will be assigned to the 3 West Ortho/Trauma unit, supporting care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and related conditions in a 24-bed inpatient unit. This is a part-time, dayshift onsite role in Virginia Beach, VA, with shifts approximately 7am to 7pm. The position is within a Level III Trauma Center and emphasizes learning and professional development.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- BLS Certification (American Health Associate) within 90 days
- Sentara Care Partner Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Current Clinical Program Student (≥1 semester RN/LPN/RT/PT)
- PCT/Nursing Assistant Experience (within 3 years)
