About this role
Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a full-time night-shift position in South Boston, VA. The role is an unlicensed clinical support position on the hospital's telemetry/stroke unit and is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week). The PCT works under the supervision of nursing staff and supports care for cardiac and telemetry patients.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Sentara Care Partner Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic
- Enrollment in Clinical Program (≥1 semester)
- AHA BLS Certification
