About this role
A Patient Care Technician (PCT) position at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital supporting the Intermediate Care Unit (Cornell 1), a 30-bed Telemetry/Stroke unit in Charlottesville, VA. This is a full-time, day-shift role (three 12-hour shifts, 7AM–7PM, 36 hours/week) with rotating weekends. The hospital is a Magnet-status, 176-bed facility offering specialized cardiac and neurological stepdown care.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Sentara Care Partner Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Certification
- Clinical Program Student (≥1 Semester)
- AHA BLS (within 90 days)
