About this role
A Patient Care Technician at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital supports nursing care on a busy 24-bed post-surgical unit (Surgery Unit 5B). The full-time position is based in Virginia Beach, VA, and primarily works a night shift (approximately 7pm–7am) providing patient-centered support in an acute care hospital.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- American Health Associate BLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Certification
- Current clinical student (RN, LPN, RT, PT) with at least one semester completed
- Recent PCT or Nursing Assistant work experience (within last 3 years)
