Sentara is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join the Intermediate Care (step-down) Unit 3 East at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. This is a full-time, night-shift role designed for nursing students, recent nursing graduates, or candidates with prior patient care experience seeking hands-on clinical exposure in a high-acuity hospital setting. The position is based in Virginia Beach, VA and is part of Sentara's acute care services.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- American Health Associate BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)
- Sentara Care Partner Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Certification
- Current clinical program student (RN/LPN/RT/PT with ≥1 semester completed)
- Current PCT or Nursing Assistant experience within last 3 years
