About this role
A Patient Care Technician (PCT) position at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital supporting the Med/Surg 4 West inpatient nursing unit. The role is full-time nights on a 24-bed adult medical/surgical telemetry unit that cares for acutely ill and postoperative patients. The facility is located in Virginia Beach, VA, near the oceanfront.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- American Health Associate BLS (within 90 days of hire)
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- US Navy Hospital Corps School
- EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic certification
- Current clinical program student (RN/LPN/RT/PT with ≥1 semester)
- Current PCT or Nursing Assistant experience within last 3 years
