Patient Companion

The Patient Companion provides continual observation to one patient and assists the nursing staff in creating a safe environment. This role focuses on fall prevention and preventing patient elopement through activities like reading, walking, and playing games. The position requires calling for licensed staff assistance when needed and reporting to the RN when leaving the patient alone.
