Patient Financial Advocate

The role serves as a liaison between Brown University Health Cancer Institute, patients, and families to determine patients' financial responsibility for medical care and to identify and secure resources to resolve medical expenses. The position also involves obtaining and verifying insurance coverage authorizations and coordinating the insurance denial process to ensure financial clearance for procedures and medications.
