The Patient Financial Counselor provides financial counseling to patients in person or via telephone, coordinating billing and collection functions for admissions, surgeries, and outpatient services. The role ensures patients understand their financial responsibilities, assists with insurance eligibility, and facilitates payment arrangements and collections at the point of service.
