Patient Financial Counselor

The Patient Financial Counselor supports patients by screening for MassHealth and other state programs, acting as a liaison to the health system for financial components of healthcare. This role provides guidance on billing concerns, insurance options, coverage gaps, and payment options while assisting with patient statements and financial assistance applications. The position supports Patient Access and billing areas, working in conjunction with Customer Service to resolve financial issues.
