Patient Navigator

The Patient Navigator evaluates psychiatric patients in the emergency department and throughout the organization to determine appropriate dispositions and levels of care. This role involves consulting with attending psychiatrists, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing crisis intervention and support for patients and families. The position also facilitates referrals for mental health, substance abuse, and preventative services while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
