Patient Safety Companion

The Patient Safety Companion provides continuous observation and monitoring of patients at risk of self-harm, wandering, or injury to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment and support the delivery of care. Under the direction of a care team member, the role involves monitoring and documenting patient behavior, and redirecting or de-escalating as appropriate. This part-time position operates on a rotating schedule including days, weekends, and holidays.
