Patient Safety Companion

The Patient Safety Companion provides continuous observation and monitoring of patients at risk of self-harm, wandering, or injury to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Under the direction of a care team member, the role involves monitoring and documenting patient behavior, and redirecting or de-escalating as appropriate. This position supports the delivery of care and ensures patient safety through consistent presence and adherence to safety protocols.
