Patient Access Representative responsible for directing patient access by answering, screening, and processing a high volume of incoming calls in a dedicated call center. The role schedules appointments using a centralized scheduling system, verifies and updates patient demographic and payer information, and obtains necessary referrals. Works within established scripts and guidelines to triage calls and route urgent issues to appropriate staff.
