Patient Support Assistant (Van Wert)

A Nursing Assistant on the Med-Surg unit provides direct patient care and supports Registered Nurses by assisting multiple patients with activities of daily living, basic nursing tasks, and maintaining a safe patient environment. The role includes taking vital signs, basic specimen collection, using portable documentation technology, and assisting with telemetry and EKG as delegated. This position works night shifts as needed and helps create a compassionate patient experience in an acute care hospital setting.
