Patient Transporter (24-E)

The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from various care areas within the hospital. This role involves assisting patients with mobility, documenting trips via computer systems, and communicating with nursing staff and receiving departments to ensure patient safety and timely care. The position requires physical stamina to lift and move patients and equipment, as well as basic computer and customer service skills.
