Patient Transporter

A Radiology Transporter at Lower Bucks Hospital performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Other duties include filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS and by running errands throughout the facility.
