Payor Specialist

The Payor Specialist verifies and reverifies insurance coverage and eligibility, submits and follows up on authorization requests, and maintains communication with insurance companies. This role ensures accurate documentation of patient benefits, manages Letters of Agreement and Single Case Agreements, and collaborates with the Case Management Team to meet deadlines and optimize patient benefits. The position requires strong organizational skills, expertise in insurance frameworks, and the ability to navigate payment negotiations.
