Payroll and Benefits Manager

Avoca is seeking a dedicated owner for payroll, benefits, equity, and compliance to ensure flawless fundamentals while building scalable processes for a rapidly growing startup. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll for U.S. and international employees, administering Carta equity workflows, and overseeing multi-state and international regulatory compliance. Reporting to the People Operations Lead, the successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for sensitive employee questions and drive year-end compliance activities.
