Smiths Detection is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to take ownership of a critical payroll function supporting approximately 500 employees across the UK. This role focuses on leading payroll compliance, driving continuous improvement, and strengthening governance rather than traditional payroll processing. The specialist will act as the subject matter expert, managing relationships with outsourced providers and partnering with HR, Finance, and stakeholders to deliver an exceptional payroll service.
