Payroll Specialist

This position is responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing and creating journal entries for all related payroll transactions, including Paid Time Off and accruals in accordance with GAAP. The role involves reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing payroll-related reports for local, state, and federal agencies, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of deductions, benefits, and taxes. The incumbent will also provide cross-training support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing functions.
