PBX Operator

The PBX Operator is responsible for receiving and directing incoming telephone calls to appropriate services, monitoring and reporting alarm conditions on telecommunications and safety systems, and alerting various support units to emergency and disaster situations. The role involves responding promptly to calls, accessing patient information, operating paging systems, and documenting alerts. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in typing and using computer systems.
