A PCB Layout Designer/Librarian at Heron Power is responsible for managing the end-to-end PCB layout process, including the development and maintenance of schematic symbol and footprint libraries while collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality power electronics solutions. The role requires expertise in advanced PCB design methodologies using Altium Designer, with a focus on signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability for complex multi-layer designs. A strong background in high-speed and high-power PCB layouts, as well as adherence to IPC standards, is essential for this position.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in PCB layout and/or library development for complex, multi-layer, high-volume product designs.Extensive experience using Altium Designer, including constraint setup, net classes, high-voltage design rules, variants, and design rooms.Familiarity with IPC standards, including IPC-7351 and IPC-2221.
