Peace and Development Officer

The Peace and Development Officer supports the Peace and Development and Peacebuilding Fund Advisor in Somalia by enhancing coherence across UN entities, government counterparts, and development partners to deliver unified results in conflict prevention and sustaining peace. The role involves providing substantive support in research, analysis, and programming entry-points to build national capacities for conflict prevention, particularly with civil society, women's, and youth networks. Additionally, the position offers technical support for coordination, partnerships, and monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective implementation of the Peace, Development and Peacebuilding Fund Team programme.
