About this role
A Cardiac Sonographer in the Congenital Pediatric Echo Lab at Memorial Hermann performs echocardiograms on pediatric and congenital heart disease patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role uses advanced ultrasound equipment to image complex and postoperative hearts and supports clinical care in NICU, PICU, CVOR, cath labs and multiple outpatient clinics. The position collaborates with pediatric cardiologists and critical care teams and participates in training and mentorship of the sonographer team.

Qualifications
- Graduate of Accredited Cardiac/Radiologic/Sonography Program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - CCI
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) - CCI
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - ARDMS
- If RCS or RDCS AE, must obtain RCCS or RDCS PE within 18 months
