The Registered Professional Nurse coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and transitions of care for pediatric patients. This role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care and provides leadership through mentoring, preceptoring, and quality improvement initiatives. The position requires accountability for planning, implementing, and evaluating all phases of nursing care within the Shriners Hospitals for Children Professional Practice Model.
