About this role

The Pediatric Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider delivers timely, compassionate care to children with acute medical needs in a walk‑in or extended‑hours clinical setting. Working independently and collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team, the APP evaluates, treats, and coordinates care for non‑emergent illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent pediatric concerns.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with non‑emergent illnesses and injuries
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, splinting, and abscess drainage
Coordinate patient care, including referrals, follow‑up planning, and documentation in the EHR

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programWashington State licensure as an ARNP (NP) or PA-C with full prescriptive authorityNational certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or PA-CBLS certification
