FLACRA is seeking a compassionate Peer Advocate to provide peer support services to individuals experiencing serious mental illness and/or substance use challenges. The role involves serving as a role model using lived experience in recovery to offer guidance, advocacy, and support to help clients navigate their recovery journeys. As an integral part of the client’s treatment team, the Peer Advocate facilitates recovery plans, promotes independence, and assists with transitions through treatment.
