Peer Advocate

The Peer Advocate works as part of an interdisciplinary legal team to build trust with families vulnerable to child welfare system involvement, drawing on personal lived experience to provide support and advocacy. This role focuses on listening without judgment, validating families' experiences, and helping parents navigate complex systems and connect with community resources. The position aims to empower parents to feel less alone and better prepared to face difficult situations while maintaining client confidentiality and equity.
