Peer Mentor

This position facilitates student success and learning through positive peer support while building leadership and mentoring skills for the student employee. The peer mentor helps peers navigate the college environment and achieve their academic and personal goals through study skills, commitment, persistence, accountability, innovation, and integrity. Mentoring involves active and ongoing relationships between mentors and students being mentored to promote social and academic development.
