About this role
The Peer Recovery Navigator [SME] supports the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program by engaging individuals and communities affected by substance use to connect them with overdose prevention, treatment, and recovery resources. The role leverages lived experience and subject matter expertise in substance use and recovery to promote safety, wellness, and self-directed recovery. Working within the Georgia Department of Public Health in partnership with the CDC Foundation, this position strengthens community linkages and supports statewide efforts to reduce overdose risk and improve outcomes for people who use drugs. The position includes both field-based and remote work within a dynamic public health program environment.
