Peer Recovery Specialist

The Peer Recovery Specialist provides peer support services to clients experiencing persistent mental illness, addiction, and other behavioral health needs within the Early Intervention Support Services program. This role involves conducting intake assessments, engaging clients through motivational interviewing and de-escalation techniques, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to facilitate care and crisis support. The position requires a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist or an individual with lived experience in substance use recovery to advocate for and assist clients in accessing supportive resources.
