The Peer Recovery Specialist, internally referred to as a Core Guide, partners with individuals living with serious mental illness (SMI) and/or substance use disorders (SUD) to support their journey toward behavioral and physical wellness. This role focuses on building trust through lived experience, conducting community outreach, and serving as a primary point of contact to help individuals reconnect with necessary healthcare services. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to address social determinants of health and facilitate access to benefits and resources.
