Peer Recovery Support Specialist

This role involves providing compassionate, evidence-based peer recovery support services to patients within the Assisted Outpatient Treatment program, utilizing personal life experiences to encourage recovery and self-advocacy. The specialist assists patients in navigating pathways to recovery by connecting them with essential resources, coordinating care, and maintaining a positive, non-judgmental treatment environment. Responsibilities include conducting outreach, documenting interventions in the electronic medical record, and attending court hearings as assigned.
