Peer Specialist

The Peer Counselor supports homeless men with mental illness and substance abuse in transitioning to independent living through case management and counseling at the Fort Washington Men's Shelter. This role involves individually and group counseling sessions, housing placement assistance, and providing ongoing aftercare to ensure community permanency. Staff must be available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergency coverage round the clock.
