Peer Specialist

This role involves responding to adults in the community experiencing mental health or substance use crises dispatched by Crisis Connections. The team works to provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and linkage to appropriate therapeutic services while avoiding unnecessary emergency room or jail usage. The position requires conducting assessments, developing engagement plans, and following up to ensure service connections are made to prevent future crisis events.
